PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin excellent in solubility to an organic solvent, and excellent also in a balance among thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and film-forming property and elongation property enough for applications to processes such as film formation and coating.SOLUTION: The epoxy resin is a mixture or three or more kinds of mutually different epoxy resins obtained by reacting at least a bifunctional epoxy resin (X) and a biphenol compound (Y), wherein the bifunctional epoxy resin (X) is a substituted or non-substituted biphenyldiglycidyl ether; and the biphenol compound (Y) is a substituted or non-substituted dihydroxybiphenyl. The substituent is a 1-10C hydrocarbon group or a halogen atom. |
