<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify forgetting of attachment of an additional battery at an early stage of photographing preparation work in moving image photography using a portable radiation image detection apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic cassette is provided with an attachment part for attaching an additional battery unit. A control part of the electronic cassette receives a selection instruction for selecting static image photography or moving image photography from a console. When receiving a selection instruction of moving image photography, the control part determines whether the additional battery unit is attached or not, and when the additional battery unit is attached, allows the moving image photography.
