Disclosed are a system and a method for diagnosing a vehicle terminal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for diagnosing a vehicle terminal, which is a multimedia product assembled in a vehicle assembly plant, comprises: a wireless dongle which is coupled to an external connection terminal of a vehicle and connects wireless communications between a vehicle diagnoster and the vehicle terminal; a vehicle diagnoster which transmits an inspection start command to the terminal vehicle through the wireless dongle, and inspects at least one among Bluetooth and voice recognition functions in consideration of system information received from the vehicle terminal; and a vehicle terminal which downloads phonebook data through Bluetooth, connected to the vehicle diagnoster by pairing, and stores the same, and enters a dialing mode by detecting a name on the phonebook, spoken by voice in the vehicle diagnoster, from the stored phonebook data. The vehicle diagnoster inspects the Bluetooth function depending on whether or not the vehicle terminal has downloaded the phonebook and inspects the voice recognition function depending on whether or not the vehicle terminal has entered the dialing mode. |
