1. A bumper attachment member for interconnecting a bumper cross member to a rail extending in a longitudinal direction, the bumper attachment member comprising:
at least one crash box which extends in the longitudinal direction and having a front end configured to be fastened to the bumper cross member; at least one support element extending along an outside of the crash box obliquely to the longitudinal direction; a connection portion extending between the crash box and the support element; and a sleeve configured to secure the crush box to the rail, the sleeve having a first end received the rear end of the crush box, a stop positively location the sleeve within the crush box and a second end extending therefrom.
