The present invention relates to a supporting type insulator of an overhead power distribution line which raises safety by preventing the fixation of an overhead power distribution line from being released after a coupling portion of the overhead power distribution line and an insulator receives a shock or the fixation between the insulator and an arm from being released if external force is added to the overhead power distribution line in the upper direction. According to the present invention, the stability of fixation between the insulator and a distribution line can be increased because a fixing portion of the distribution line and the insulator moves to the upper side and a shock added to a fixing portion of the insulator and the distribution line is reduced if the external force is added to the distribution line in the upper direction. Thus, the stability of fixation between the insulator and the arm can be increased. Moreover, a rotary buffering function is freely performed for the distribution line because a coupling stand can be turned to the left which has mobility and a stable buffering operation is performed by doubling the floating performance of a piston at the same time.
