<p>The present invention discloses a digital door lock (DDL) apparatus comprising a communications control unit including a microprocessor unit (MPU) for communications to reduce the load of the MPU of the main control unit, improving efficiency of the system, and reducing battery consumption. The DDL apparatus comprises the main control unit and the communications control unit. The main control unit is installed on an entrance door of a building to control unlocking of the entrance door in accordance with control by a visitor, such as decoding of a password, fingerprint verification, tag recognition or the like. The communications control unit comprises the MPU separated from the main control unit in order to perform a control operation to wirelessly transmit data to or receive data from a home automation device installed on the building or a tag of the visitor. Also, the communications control unit converts a standby mode into an operation mode by an input of a signal output from the home automation device or the tag to perform wireless communications with the home automation device or the tag, and in accordance with controlling by the communications control unit converted into the operation mode, the main control unit converts a sleep mode into an operation mode, thereby performing an unlocking process of the entrance door. According to the present invention, the communications control unit analyzes an audio frequency (AF) signal input into the main control unit such that the load of the main control unit is reduced, thereby improving a responding speed of the DDL apparatus. The DDL apparatus is operated by using the standby mode and the sleep mode, thereby reducing battery consumption.</p> |
