This invention provides a green coloring composition, for use in a color filter, that can form a green colored film having low incident-angle dependence and improves the color-separation properties of a solid-state imaging element containing said colored film. This invention also provides said colored film, said color filter, and said solid-state imaging element. This green coloring composition for use in a color filter contains a green colorant, a near-infrared absorber, and a polymerizable compound. When said green coloring composition is used to form a colored film having a thickness of 0.8 µm, the maximum transmittance of said colored film at wavelengths of 400 to 450 nm is at most 5%, the maximum transmittance of said colored film at wavelengths of 500 to 600 nm is at least 70%, the minimum transmittance of said colored film at wavelengths of at least 650 nm but less than 700 nm is at most 20%, and the minimum transmittance of said colored film at wavelengths of 700 to 900 nm is at most 30%. |
