PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user feels discomfort in sight of a finder image because blur correction operation is immediately terminated at the time of the end of blur correction and to solve the problem that a time lag at the time of release is varied due to variation of time necessary for centering to an approximate center of a blur correction optical system, which is performed immediately before exposure, with respect to a blur correction camera based on conventional techniques.SOLUTION: When blur correction is terminated, blur correction is continued for a prescribed time and then the blur correction optical system is fastened at an approximate center while reducing a gain of blur correction with time. At the time of exposure, exposure start timing is indicated from a mounted camera body, and centering of the blur correction optical system before exposure is performed at this timing. |
