A method performed by a user equipment (121) for requesting a radio connection with a network node (110) in a radio communications network (100) is provided. The user equipment (121) is configured to be in the radio communications network (100). The user equipment (121) configures a request message for setting up a radio connection to a network node (110) to comprise an indication indicating whether the user equipment (121) has one or more differing user equipment radio capabilities in relation to another user equipment (122) configured to be in the radio communications network (100) and send the configured request message to the network node (110). A user equipment (121) for requesting a radio connection with a network node (110) in a radio communications network (100) is also provided. Furthermore, a network node (110) for enabling a radio connection with a user equipment (121) in a radio communications network (100) and a method performed therein are also provided.
