PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition and method for preventing, slowing progression of, delaying or treating a metabolic disorder of diabetes mellitus and complications of diabetes mellitus.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition according to the claim 1 comprising an SGLT2 inhibitor and insulin which is suitable for the treatment or prevention of one or more conditions selected from type 1 diabetes mellitus, type 2 diabetes mellitus, impaired glucose tolerance and hyperglycemia. In addition, the invention relates to methods for preventing or treating metabolic disorders and related conditions.
