PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge ink accumulated in two cap parts at one time and reliably.SOLUTION: A cap part 42 and a cap part 43 are arranged with a space in a scanning direction. A communication part 44 is disposed on the upstream side in a conveying direction of the cap part 41. The communication part 44 communicates the cap part 42 and the cap part 43 by extending in the scanning direction and being connected to an end part of the cap part 42 on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the cap part 42 and an end part of the cap part 43 on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the cap part 43. Connection parts 48, 49 are provided at end parts on the downstream sides in the conveying directions of the cap parts 42, 43 respectively. The cap parts 42, 43 and the communication part 44 can be switched through the connection ports 48, 49 between a state of being connected to a suction pump, a state of being communicated with atmospheric air, and a state of blocking the connection with the suction pump and the atmosphere communication respectively. |
