PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source supply device for an operation.SOLUTION: A power source supply device for an operation for supplying power to a treatment instrument includes a temperature detection part for detecting a temperature of the treatment instrument, and an abnormality detection part for detecting an abnormality of the treatment instrument based on the detected temperature. The temperature detection part either detects a temperature by measuring electric capacitance of the treatment instrument, or directly detects the temperature of the treatment instrument using a temperature measuring device. Specifically, the abnormality detection part detects an abnormality according to whether or not a temperature variation amount per unit time of the treatment instrument exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the abnormality detection part detects an abnormality, power output to the treatment instrument is stopped. Damage to the treatment instrument can be prevented by detecting an abnormality as stated above. |
