PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the damping performance of a centrifugal pendulum type vibration absorber while making compact a starter including a damper mechanism, a lock-up clutch, and the centrifugal pendulum type vibration absorber.SOLUTION: A starter 1 comprises: a damper mechanism 10; a single plate lock-up clutch 8 that can execute lock-up for coupling a front cover 3 to an input shaft of a transmission via the damper mechanism 10; and a centrifugal pendulum type vibration absorber constituted by a driven member 15 of the damper mechanism 10 as a support member and a plurality of pendulum mass bodies 21, a lock-up piston 80 of the lock-up clutch 8 being coupled to a drive member 11 of the damper mechanism 10 radially inward of the pendulum mass bodies 21 so as to rotate integrally. |
