Both diffraction gratings are flied in the air by separating each diffraction grating from a metal film with a different distance (or height) when the diffraction gratings are located on both sides of a slit engraved on the metal film. Thereby, a plasmonic beaming angle is controlled by applying a different effective refractive index.
