PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a conductive polymer for a positive electrode excellent in cycle characteristics by effectively suppressing degradation of battery performance.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an electrolyte layer; and a positive electrode and a negative electrode provided by facing each other across the electrolyte layer. The positive electrode includes a conductive polymer (a) and at least one of polycarboxylic acid and a metal salt (b). The negative electrode includes soft carbon.
