An arthroscopic drill guiding system for drilling a hole into a bone comprises an arthroscopic pointing device, a drill sensor and an indicator. The pointing device has a shaft with a distal section and at least one navigation sensor for locating a target position distally at the bone. The drill sensor is coupled to a drill and provides information about the position and/or direction of the drill. The indicator indicates the relative position of the drill with respect to the target position, thus allowing to align the drill with the target position. |
