<p>A vehicle battery pack container is provided. The container includes a base member, a peripheral wall coupled to the base member, and a cover member coupled to the peripheral wall. The container further includes a venting device having a venting housing and a flow diverter member disposed within an interior region of the venting housing. The venting housing is coupled to the base member and is in fluid communication with an aperture in the base member. The venting housing has a tubular portion and a first end portion having a plurality of apertures extending therethrough.
