In the present invention, disclosed is a secondary battery capable of improving productivity by automating a production process by integrating a retainer part with a collector through molding, and saving a space and reducing a weight thereof by forming the retainer part with a comparatively narrow width. According to one embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is the secondary battery including: an electrode assembly which includes an electrode uncoated part; the collector which includes a pair of collection parts combined to the electrode uncoated part; a case which receives the electrode assembly; and a cap plate which seals an opening part of the case. The collection part includes a first surface which faces the inner sidewall of the case. The retainer part extended to the inner sidewall of the case is formed on the first surface. The retainer part is integrated with the collection part by the molding. |
