<p>The monitoring device for patients' beds serves to detect the patient getting out of the bed or to detect the patient getting into the bed. The bed is equipped with a mattress, and with an alarm device for alerting the nursing staff. A row of proximity switches is arranged in the mattress core, along at least one of the longitudinal edges thereof. When an edge of the mattress is loaded, a signal is generated that activates the alarm device.</p> |
