According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for generating a device-to-device synchronization signal (D2DSS) of a terminal comprises the steps of: determining a service property which identifies whether the terminal receives services from at least one base station; and generating the D2DSS capable of identifying whether the terminal receives services from the base station based on the determination result. In addition, a method for setting device-to-device synchronization of a terminal, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving a signal from at least one base station or other devices; and setting synchronization with other devices based on timing reference of a detected synchronization signal when the synchronization signal is detected.
