The present invention relates to a gateway apparatus between heterogeneous network domains in a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a first network controller connected to a first network domain in a time divisional deterministic communications scheme, and having a first timer time-synchronized for nodes in a domain of the first network domain; a second network controller connected to a second network domain in a contentious communications scheme, and having a second timer time-synchronized with nodes in a domain of the second network domain; and a time synchronization control unit. The time synchronization control unit stores an observation time with respect to a system time in the second network domain regarding a switching time of synchronized time slots in the first network domain, and can control the rate of the second timer based on a comparison result that the time difference between continuous observation times is compared to the nominal length of the time slots. |
