This invention is about an FMCW radar that uses a single antenna for both transmission and receive without the problem of signal leakage from transmission to receive channels. The purpose of this invention is to devise a technique to allow the use of a single antenna in an FMCW radar. Another purpose of this invention is to analyze only a part of the radar echo return signal to decrease computational load requirement in an FMCW radar.
