The connecting piece (10) has a suction hose to which suction port of vacuum cleaner unit is connected. A lower connection portion (11) is provided on upper connection portion (13) in mounting direction (20). An elastically deformable latching tab (30) is deflected in order to engage a mounted position of lower connection portion into a locking position to prevent separation of lower connection portion from upper connection portion counter to mounting direction. The latching tab for mounted lower connection portion is positioned between lower and upper connection portions.
