摘要 The present invention relates to an aqueous binder composition comprising: at least one polymer P having a glass transition temperature Tg in the range from −20 to +60° C., in the form of an aqueous polymer dispersion PD which is obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer M, and0.1 to 10% by weight, based on the sum of polymer P and oligomer, of one or more oligomers which are composed of ethylenically unsaturated monomers and have an average molecular weight Mw of 1000 to 30 000 g/mol, a glass transition temperature Tg in the range from +60 to +120° C., and an acid number in the range from 50 to 350, to a process for preparing it, to coating materials comprising it, and also to the use of water-soluble oligomers in a mixture with aqueous polymer dispersions in coating materials that lead to coatings featuring increased gloss.
