<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that reduces binding stress to sheets when forming a sheet bundle and comparatively reduces movement of sheets adhered with an adhesive so as to eliminate adhesion of the adhesive to a part other than the sheets in a conveyance passage and a stack part and secure attachment of the sheets.SOLUTION: An adhesive applying device 50 is installed as a unit in a sheet processing device. This device comprises: a conveyance passage 143; adhesion means 51 that is provided at a conveyance-passage outlet 144, and can be moved between an adhesion position to apply an adhesive to sheets conveyed therein and a separation position separated from the sheets where the sheets are allowed to be moved; driving means that moves the sheet to the adhesion position and the separation position; and a platen 79 that backs up sheets to be applied with the adhesive and sheets already applied with the adhesive, at an adhesion position of adhesion means provided opposite to the adhesion means 51, which are united so as to be installable in a stacker part 40.</p> |
