<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful pyrazine carboxylic acid compound which can be used as an organic coloring matter for dye-sensitized solar cell, a semiconductor electrode containing the compound and a dye-sensitized solar cell having the semiconductor electrode.SOLUTION: There are provided a pyrazine carboxylic acid compound represented by the general formula (1), where Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a phenyl group or an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, L represents an arylene group or 5-membered heteroarylene group, n represents an integer of 0 to 3 and m represents 1 or 2, a semiconductor electrode containing the compound and a dye-sensitized solar cell having the semiconductor electrode.</p> |
