<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for estimating a plan for new design of an installation object such as a signal device, and occurrence of an obstacle on a rail truck, and a simulator.SOLUTION: Matching processing of a front side-imaging image and mileage is performed by using front side image data D1 obtained by imaging by an on-vehicle camera, and facility/equipment-mileage corresponding data D2 which is created in advance, for creating mileage data D4 indicating mileage corresponding to each frame of the image, and rail shape extraction processing is performed for creating rail-shaped data D5 from the front side image data. Then, based on the facility/equipment-mileage corresponding data, mileage data, and the rail-shaped data D5, installation desire position derivation processing for deriving a position where installation of an installation object is desired, is performed for creating installation desire position data D6. Based on the installation desire position data, the front side image data of the position where installation of the installation object is desired, is read out, and installation object image data D3 stored in advance, is read out, for displaying the image of the installation object on the front side-imaging image by overlay display.</p> |
