PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness of a fuel injection valve at fuel injection start time and fuel injection termination time, in a fuel injection valve of a type which actuates a nozzle needle by controlling pressure in a control chamber. ! SOLUTION: In a fuel injection valve in which high pressure fuel in a control chamber 26 is discharged to a low pressure part via an intermediate chamber 323 and discharge passages 313, 315, a spring chamber 325 for communicating with the intermediate chamber 323 is provided, and by inserting a shaft part 332 of a valve body 33 into a portion on the intermediate chamber 323 side in the spring chamber 325 slidably, the spring chamber 325 in which a spring 34 is disposed and the intermediate chamber 323 are separated. Thereby, volume of the intermediate chamber 323 can be reduced, so that pressure drop and pressure rise in the intermediate chamber 323 become fast, and responsiveness of the fuel injection valve can be improved at the fuel injection start time |
