PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring probe and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A spring probe 21 comprises a spring sleeve 40 and a pin 30. The pin comprises: a pin body 31 stored in the spring sleeve; a pointed end 32 projecting toward a lower non-elastic portion 42 of the spring sleeve; and a stopper 322 formed on the pointed end. The lower non-elastic portion of the spring sleeve contacts the stopper and is fixed to the stopper, so that there is convenience in assembly. In the production method, on the lower non-elastic portion of the spring sleeve, at least one slot whose lower end is an opened state, and a flaky guide part adjacent to at least one slot, are formed. Then the pin is produced, and at least one solder pad and at least one fitting rib 322a are formed on the stopper of the pin. The spring sleeve covers the pin, and the fitting rib of the stopper is fitted to the slot on the lower non-elastic portion, and the flaky guide part is fixed by the pin. |
