PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication oil composition suitable for working a cold rolled steel sheet, a galvanized steel sheet and an aluminum plate. ! SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition is produced by blending following each component of (A) to (D) with a base oil. (A) alpha olefin. (B) carboxylic acid ester represented by the following formula [1]. R1COOR2... [1], where R1 is a hydrocarbyl group which may contain at least any of oxygen atom, nitrogen atom, sulfur atom and an ester structure and the total atom number excluding hydrogen atoms is 6 or more, R2 is a hydrocarbyl group which may contain at least any of oxygen atom, nitrogen atom, sulfur atom and an ester structure and has 4 or more carbon atoms, the ester of the formula [1] has the total atom number per one carboxyl group (excluding hydrogen atoms) of 36 or less.
