PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual capping layer utilized in a magnetoresistive effect sensor.SOLUTION: In a dual capping layer utilized in a magnetic resistance effect sensor, a read head sensor enhances magnetic bias field in the read head sensor. For instance, it contains, in a sensor stack, a dual capping layer that may reduce magnetic coupling so as to perform magnetic domain control. Furthermore, it may enhance bias magnetic field formation of the read head sensor by utilizing an upper shield having a plurality of stacked films having different film characteristics. Also, a coil structure may be arranged adjacent to a side face shield to enhance bias magnetic field formation of the read head sensor. |
