Two fluted rollers (2,3) produce a corrugation (27) on the length of paper (26). A glue applicator (13) applies glue to the peaks (28) of the corrugation. A pressure applicator presses a covering (29) onto the glued peaks of the corrugated paper web resting on the outer casing (25) of the second fluted roller (3) over a pressure area (31). The pressure applicator has a continuous pressure belt (19) guided over a first (17) and second (18) deflector roller and over the pressure area against the second fluted roller. Heating is at least partly in the form of inductive heating (23,23') and belongs to the second fluted roller and or pressure belt. The belt and or at least the casing of the second fluted roller are made of ferromagnetic material.
