A working robot used in space, designed so that in space it examines accommodation modules for their structure or makes a change of M/D shields so as to eliminate manual operation. The main body (1 (101, 201)) is provided with four multifunction arms (110, 111, 112, 113) (in some cases, two movable arms (10, 11) and two multifunction arms (20, 21)), each having a manipulator (2 (102, 202)) at its front end. The movement of the robot is effected by gripping the working socket (86 (186, 286)) of an M/D shield (81 (181, 281)) or the head of a bolt (85 (185, 285)) by the manipulators (2) of the multifunction arms (10, 11, 12, 13 (110, 111, 112, 113)), etc. so as to cause the extension/contraction of the arms, while the fixing and lifting of the M/D shield (81 (181, 281)) are effected by inserting the manipulator (2 (102, 202)) of the multifunction arm (10), etc. into a T-handle socket (82 (182, 282)) and the removal of the bolt is effected by the manipulator (2 (102, 202)) of the multifunction arm (11), etc.
