An apparatus and a method for testing the operability of a spool valve are disclosed. According to the present invention, the apparatus for testing the operability of a spool valve includes: a jig for accepting and fixating a spool valve; a current supplier installed on one side of the jig to supply a current to the spool valve; a gauge installed on the jig to measure the moving distance of the spring using the applied current from the current supplier; and a controller to obtain data on the moving distance of the spring through the gauge and to control the current amount of the current supplier. |
