PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a seal performance of labyrinth seal of a rotary machine.SOLUTION: This invention provides a seal structure 2 for sealing a clearance between the first structure 10 and the second structure 51 oppositely facing in a radial direction against the first structure 10. The second structure 51 comprises: a plurality of seal fins 5 forming a surface in parallel to an axis line, protruding toward the second structure 51 to form a clearance (m) between it and the second structure 51 and arranged to be spaced apart in an axial line direction; and a protrusion part 7 in which a re-adhering edge 15 where leak flow SL passed through a clearance mA of the upstream side seal fins 5a is formed between a pair of adjoining seal fins 5 in an axial line, forming the first cavity 17 where eddy B1 flowing toward the second structure 51 along the upstream side seal fins 5a is formed and the second cavity 18 where a flow B2 generating a reduced flow effect against a clearance mB of downstream side seal fins 5b. |
