PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery arranged by using a particular phosphorus compound by a particular amount so as to be driven with a high voltage such that a positive electrode potential at full charge is over 4.2 V (vs. Li/Li), and showing stable charge and discharge characteristics and shelf life over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing a nonaqueous solvent, a fluorine-containing electrolyte, and 0.001 ppm to 0.05 mass% of a phosphorus-containing compound including a phosphorus atom; and a positive electrode, of which the positive electrode potential at full charge is over 4.2 V (vs. Li/Li) based on lithium. According toP-NMR spectra of the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, the phosphorus-containing compound has a chemical shift value in a region of 40 to -80 ppm. |
