摘要 脱臭装置A包括:本体外壳C,系具有朝向外部开口之吸入口11与吹出口42,并形成从该吸入口11往该吹出口42连通的通风路R;送风风扇44,系内建于本体外壳C,并将室内空气导入从吸入口11至吹出口42之通风路R;脱臭手段62,系设置于通风路R中途,所导入之空气可通过;加热手段63,系配置成与脱臭手段62少一部分的区域相对向,并在200℃以下将脱臭手段62;及控制部47,系控制送风风扇44及加热手段63的动作。脱臭手段62系在载体上形成对所吸附之物质不进行氧化分解的吸附材料与对所吸附之物质进行氧化分解的触媒成分,并调制成触媒成分所造成之酒精的醋酸转化率在脱臭手段62整体平均成为15%以下。; a blower fan 44 built in the body case C so as to introduce room air into the air flow passage R from the inlet port 11 to the outlet port 42; a deodorizing means 62 that is disposed in the air flow passage R, and allows introduced air to pass therethrough; a heating means 63 disposed opposite to at least a region of the deodorizing means 62 so as to heat the deodorizing means 62 at a temperature of 200℃; and a controller 47 that controls operations of the blower fan 44 and of the heating means 63. The deodorizing means 62 includes a support on which an adsorbent material that does not oxidatively decompose absorbed substances, and a catalyst composition that oxidatively decomposes the absorbed substances are formed, and the deodorizing means 62 is prepared such that the conversion rate of alcohol to acetic acid obtained by using the catalyst composition becomes 15% or less on average through the entire deodorizing means 62.
