Disclosed are an image forming apparatus, a control method of paper feeding thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium. The image forming apparatus of the present invention comprises: a lift for supplying a piece of loaded paper to a paper feeding roller; a motor for moving the lift to make the piece of paper contact the paper feeding roller; a sensing unit for measuring a current flowing in the motor; and a control unit for controlling the driving of the motor according to the size of the measured current.
