PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a lithium sulfide under a mild condition without purification or solvent removal.SOLUTION: A method of producing a lithium sulfide includes a gas-solid reaction with a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas at a reaction temperature of 350°C or more and less than 450°C using a lithium hydroxide and a rolling motion layer.
