<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of harsh notification sounds by a nurse call master unit to a health-care worker in a nurse station as much as possible while reliable notification of a call from a patient is made.SOLUTION: When a call is made, a nurse call master unit 10 activates a timer and makes a portable terminal of a health care worker notify without activating a notification part for notifying by a sound. Then, when the portable terminal 40 does not respond within a prescribed period of time, the nurse call master unit 10 activates the notification part. Consequently, since the portable terminal 40 outputs a notification sound before the nurse call master unit 10 outputs a notification sound, the notification sound is not output in a nurse station when the portable terminal 40 responds within the prescribed period of time after the call is made. On the other hand, when the portable terminal 40 does not respond after a lapse of the prescribed period of time, the nurse call master unit 10 outputs the notification sound, and the reliable notification is made.</p> |
