PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor which achieves high responsiveness.SOLUTION: A centrifugal compressor 22 includes: an impeller which compresses a low speed fluid introduced from a passage by rotation and outputs the low speed fluid; and a high speed fluid generation device 26 which supplies a high speed fluid having a speed higher than the low speed fluid from the upstream side relative to the impeller to the impeller along flow of the low speed fluid.
