PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus having a power changeover function, capable of suppressing exothermic heat generated from a current source when a battery is charged by a communication power supply.SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus includes: a power supply circuit configured to supply AC power to a light source either from the communication power supply through a lighting device or from the battery through an inverter; and a charge circuit having a current source in order to supply a current to the battery to charge the battery. The charge circuit includes a voltage changeover circuit for selectively applying to the current source a specific voltage among a plurality of types of voltages to be applied to the current source.
