PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of efficiently supplying warm air generated from a dehumidifying heater to a sheet feeding cassette.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder 9 includes: a dehumidifying heater 15 disposed in a gap G formed between an under surface of the bottom plate of a sheet feeding cassette 20 and a housing 4; an air intake port 31 communicating with the gap G and opening to a peripheral wall of the housing 4; and a vent port 32 communicating with the gap G inside the housing 4 and formed in an outer periphery of the sheet feeding cassette 20. Flow regulating plates 25 are disposed in the gap G so that the dehumidifying heater 15 is put between the plates from both sides in a horizontal direction. The flow regulating plates 25 form a duct 35 together with the sheet feeding cassette 20 and the housing 4. The duct 35 generates air flow flowing from the air intake port 31 through the dehumidifying heater 15 toward the vent port 32.
