PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file processing system capable of efficiently defining a work flow.SOLUTION: A file processing system comprises a management server and an image formation device capable of connecting with the management server through a network. The management server includes: a first storage unit for storing a first work flow in which first processing on a file to be executed by taking a first event as a trigger is defined; and a first control unit which monitors the first event on the basis of the first work flow and executes the defined first processing when the first event has occurred. The image formation device includes: a second storage unit for storing a second work flow in which second processing, whose final processing is processing for causing the first event, on a file to be executed by taking a second event differing from the first event as a trigger is defined; and a second control unit which monitors the second event on the basis of the second work flow and executes the second processing when the second event has occurred.
