PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease in an access speed to a local storage area and to suppress the number of times of writing into an application data area, while reducing costs.SOLUTION: A reproducing device 100 comprises: a reproduction control unit 74 which controls reproduction of the content which is a combination of data in a BD-ROM210 and data in a local storage area 21 of a built-in memory 20 including the local storage area 21 and an application data area 22; an application data processing unit 75; and an access unit 80. When accessing the local storage area 21, the access unit 80 restricts accesses to the application data area 22, stores application data in a temporary storage device 60, updates the application data stored every time an update request has been received, and writes the stored application data to the application data area 22 at write timing. |
