<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment that secures the safety of charging by charging a secondary battery with regular (e.g., genuine) charging equipment.SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 10 is electrically connected with a secondary battery 20 via a battery terminal T, and electrically connected with a charger 30 via a charging connector P and a communication connector D. The electronic equipment 10 comprises a voltage range detector 11, a switch part 13, a charging controller 15, and an equipment side microcomputer 40. The charger 30 comprises a charger side charging controller 32 and a charger side microcomputer 50. In a case where the equipment side microcomputer 40 determines that authentication data transmitted from the charger 30 is predetermined data, and the voltage range detector 11 determines that a charging voltage applied to the charging connector P is in a predetermined range, the equipment side microcomputer 40 turns on the switch part 13. The charging to the secondary battery 20 is performed via the switch part 13 or the charging controller 15 or both of them.</p> |
