<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system that easily obtains high optical performance over an entire object distance with a wide angle of view.SOLUTION: An optical system comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a front group having negative refractive power and a rear group having positive refractive power. The front group includes a first lens group having negative refractive power, the rear group includes, in order from the object side to the image side, a second lens group having positive refractive power and a third lens group having positive refractive power, and distances between adjacent lens groups change during zooming. The rear group has a lens system LF having positive refractive power that moves on an optical axis during focusing. The lens system LF has, in order from the object side to the image side, a lens unit GA having positive refractive power and a lens unit GB having positive or negative refractive power, and a lens surface of the lens unit GB closest to the object side is concave.</p> |
