LED LIGHTING APPARATUS

An LED lighting apparatus comprising: a base (1), an LED light-emitting unit (2), and a light shade (3). The LED light-emitting unit (2) and the light shade (3) are arranged on the base (1). The light shade (3) is a solid component made of a thermally-conductive material. The light shade (3) covers the LED light-emitting unit (2). The inner surface of the light shade (3) comprises a light distribution surface (31) and a thermally-conductive surface (32). The LED lighting apparatus employs a solid material having an improved thermal conductivity as the light shade (3), heat generated by the LED light-emitting unit not only can be dissipated via the base (1), but also can be transferred outwards via the light shade (3), thus allowing the entire apparatus to dissipate heat in all directions, and increasing the heat dissipation performance of the apparatus. Because of increased heat dissipation performance, lighting apparatus of increased power can be manufactured insofar that apparatus size is not increased.
