A screw conveyor made of alloyed steel and tempered by electromagnetic induction or exposure to a flame is used to convey abrasive granulated products in a process using a screw conveyor, under high attrition and wear, the principle of the invention relating to the production process by alloying steel with the chemical element boron (B), and subjecting the conveyor to a thermal treatment, leading to a screw conveyor having greater resistance and durability. |
