<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize reader and a prize reading method capable of preventing occurrence of miscalculation and reducing processing time of a prize since processing of a prize that cannot be identified normally by an identification part can be performed even if information relating to such a prize is not inputted manually.SOLUTION: A prize reader includes: an identification part for identifying a prize conveyed by a conveyance part; and a control part capable of executing an alternative read mode for re-identifying a prize by the identification part after exchanging a prize that cannot be normally identified by the identification part with another prize when some prizes cannot be identified normally by the identification part.</p> |
